During the month of October 2019, the Longport Police Department reports responding to 810 calls for service. These calls include:

Arrests:

  • Raymond Thompson Jr, 53, of Northfield was arrested on 10/08/2019 by Ofc Shaune Slattery for simple assault.
  • Stephanie McVeigh, 44, of Longport was arrested on 10/08/2019 by Ofc Shaune Slattery for simple assault.
  • Terri Saxton, 35, of Margate was arrested on 10/26/2019 by Ofc Frank Lupperger for maintaining multiple warrants out of Burlington Twp totaling $3000.
  • Alain Lopez, 30, of Somers Point was arrested on 10/28/2019 by Ofc Shaune Slattery for driving while intoxicated.  Lopez was issued traffic summonses for driving the wrong way down a one way and DWI.
