A request for Public Records must be submitted to the Longport Police Department on the REQUEST FOR PUBLIC RECORDS form made available either in person at the Police Dept or click on this link for a copy in Adobe Acrobat format which you can print out, complete and submit.

If your request is approved, it will take some time to compile the records and make the copies requested. YOUR REQUEST WILL BE AVAILABLE WITHIN SEVEN DAYS FROM THE DATE OF REQUEST. Page 11 through page 20 50 cents per page
Page 21 plus 25 cents per page
(Pursuant to NJSA 47:1A-5C)

The Records Dept may impose a reasonable service charge if the nature, format, manner of collation or volume of a government record is such that it cannot be reproduced by ordinary document copying equipment in ordinary business size or involves an extraordinary expenditure of time and effort to accommodate your request.
